Settings worth knowing.

Five things you set once. Two-language audio, sharp picture on the TV, offline saves, the keys nobody told you about.

First thing, first time00

Quality → Original.

Open Plex, hit your avatar, Settings → Quality. Set both home and remote to Original. Anything less squeezes the file and the picture suffers. One toggle, set forever.

Dual audio & subtitles.

While something's playing, tap Playback Settings. Switch audio track or subtitle language. Works on every Plex client. Only titles tagged Dual Audio have extra tracks. If yours doesn't, ask in Discord and Elisha can grab a better copy.
Phone → TV02

Cast to a TV.

Best: Apple TV running Plex directly (4K, Dolby Vision, Atmos). Then Chromecast / Google TV. Don't cast to Roku or Fire from your phone. Open Plex on the TV instead. WiFi flaky? A $10 ethernet adapter on the streaming box ends 90% of buffering.
Planes, trains, cabins03

Download for offline.

In Plex or AudioBookshelf, tap the cloud-down icon on a title. Saves to the device, plays with no signal. Double-check Plex → Settings → Remote Downloads. The default is a low 2 Mbps, which looks rough on a big iPad.
